Manjot Singh

Two UK based Sikh kids are brought up in a rich Sikh culture. However, they are prohibited to wear their kirpaans inside the school premises, and their family decides to fight for their religious right in court.

Set in pre-1947 Punjab, the film explores the sacrifices made by Punjabis in their fight for freedom. It portrays their struggle not only against colonial rule but also to reclaim gurdwaras from British control.
