St. Pauli Theater - Zitronenjette

Henriette Johanne Marie Müller, known as Zitronenjette, was a Hamburg original. At the end of the 19th century, she traveled through the streets and bars of Hamburg's harbour and Neustadt districts with a basket full of lemons to make a living selling the fruit. Lemon, lemon, that's how she advertised her wares and was known not only for her unusual appearance, but also for her drinking strength.

Dead Eyes of London

A disfigured killer with glazed-over white eyes is doing the dirty work so that an insurance agent-doctor can get the victims' insurance money.

A serial killer named The Shark is terrorizing London by killing his victims with a speargun and then, dressed in a scruba-diver's wetsuit, using the city's sewer tunnels to make his getaway.

Three pretty schoolgirls of marriageable age giggle and cackle while lying naked in bed as they read from the erotic notes of one of them, which are compiled in a notebook called "My intimate diary". One day, the author of these late-pubescent outpourings, Monika Hannemann, daughter of a town councillor, leaves her erotic fantasies in the classroom, whereupon these lines fall into the hands of the slippery teacher Miss Stubentreu. She reads them and learns from the lines that Monika must have become a village mattress and slept with half the men in Bumburg. Soon the erotic content is making the rounds, becoming the talk of the small town, and the conjectures and insinuations about who had or could have had what with whom in Bumburg run rampant. Even a reporter named Waltraut Henze, who has few scruples, arrives because she senses a sensational story behind the scribblings.

The Mysterious Magician

The sister of a famous, but as yet uncaught, criminal named "The Hexer" is murdered. Inspector Higgins of Scotland Yard believes that "The Hexer" will surface to take his revenge on his sister's killers, and plans to set a trap to finally capture him. However, soon bodies start piling up, and it looks as if "The Hexer" may get away yet again.

Die Ehe des Dr. med. Danwitz

Dr. Danwitz is a dedicated physician. The assistant doctor works practically day and night on a research project, but without pay. His wife Edith earns the necessary extra money as a model. That's why her pregnancy is a financial disaster for the young couple. Then a wealthy woman asks Dr. Danwitz to perform an illegal abortion, for which she would pay well. The doctor has to make a difficult decision.
