María and Ana are two sisters aged 11 and 14 who live in a small town in a rural area threatened by depopulation. Ana's entry into adolescence, contrasting with María's innocence, will trigger a conflict between them on the brink of the arrival of summer.

Ángel and his group of retired friends are finally living peacefully in their old neighborhood, believing they have signed the contract of their lives. Everything changes the day they attend El Chispas' funeral. A scathing critique of real estate speculation and gentrification that combines thriller with black comedy.
