In an alternate 1990s where the Cold War rages on, a Soviet cosmonaut and her crew investigate a distress signal from an American space station, only to uncover a sinister threat that could jeopardise more than their mission.

After seven years on the run, a young man groomed for a life of crime seeks redemption when he falls for his boss’s daughter. But when he kills the man who made him, he becomes Australia’s most wanted fugitive — forced onto the open road with the one person as lost as he is.

A disillusioned author’s world collides when he crosses paths with a masked vigilante and a charismatic ex-convict scheming to take down a doomsday cult.
