Dustin is a teenager growing up in New York City. He lives with his father, a loving but flawed club owner obsessed with his ex-wife and the past. Every other weekend Dustin shuttles between the Big Apple and Fenwick Island, Delaware where his mother lives with her younger surfer boyfriend. Along the journey, Dustin begins to see people who may or may not be real.

Two schoolteachers, Nick and Brian, tour small-town America in their 1968 golden Cadillac convertible, encountering awesome people and places that make the nation great.
