Milan, 2026. The day of Sara’s thirtieth birthday has arrived, and she has decided to spend it with her best friend Lea—partly to celebrate, but above all to confess that she will soon be leaving. This event takes her back in time, to her first encounter with the beehives. What at first seems chaotic reveals itself to her as the most intelligent of natural structures.
