The niece of a wealthy manufacturing aunt has secretly married. Her husband has lost his way during the night in his pajamas at a spa and ended up on the balcony of an attractive singer.

Begun in 1944/45, finished and released in 1949, this is a biography of the composer Carl Michael Ziehrer, who overcomes hypersensitivity in competitive situations which leads initially to failures in both career and romance.

Trust and honesty are the cornerstones of every marriage, Georg and Isabell tell themselves. Easy for them to say. Newly married, newly in love, it's easy to say all sorts of things. But only time will tell if their grand intentions can truly be kept. During their honeymoon, the newlyweds face their first test. Georg's friend Leo unexpectedly shows up with his girlfriend Pucki. This previously unknown 37-minute film shows a Heinz Erhardt in top form. The main actor, Vogelsand representative Zatke, joins the ranks of great characters such as Willi Winzig, the well-intentioned tax official who regularly gets tangled up in the ambiguities of his language.

Johann, the trusted valet of Count Zirndorf, has an affair with chambermaid Marie, but this liaison ends, as does the count's marriage. Years later trouble ensues when the count's daughter falls for young Hans who might be her brother.

Together with her uncle and waiter Otto, young Renate runs a guesthouse high above the Rhine, which hardly any guests ever visit. When she suddenly inherits a vineyard in Tuscany one day, the three of them set off full of hope on the arduous journey south. However, the inheritance turns out to be a dilapidated estate, whose valuable wines stored in a secret cellar are known only to the devious wine merchant Brandolini. Fortunately, he has a nice brother who falls in love with Renate and helps her out.

Clemens and Bobi, two legation secretaries, are sent on a delicate mission by their minister: it concerns a red portfolio with secret papers, which the minister stuck under a bed mattress and forgot about when he met someone on a rendezvous. And to make things more difficult, the horny minister can't remember which room he left it in. After several incidents in different hotel rooms, neither secretary has found a thing. There's not a trace of the portfolio; but Clemens is more interested in Annette, the young lady in one of the hotel beds, than in the portfolio. He forgets his mission and can think only of her. Boni, in the meantime, has found his way into a room, where Olivia is staying and sees a red, leather folder there. But the woman throws him out in short order.
