Zhang Shihong

The story of a beautiful, single woman who runs a restaurant in inland China, delving into her battle to understand the rapid changes affecting society around her.

Set against the backdrop of China's poverty alleviation efforts, the film narrates the touching story of Luo Hong, a young Bouyei doctor, and Nong Jiahui, a village teacher. Together, they establish a village clinic to improve local healthcare conditions, leading to significant transformations in their mountainous village and culminating in a blossoming romance.
