Jeanne, a 15-year-old orphan, witnesses the shoot for a film adaptation of the fairy tale The Snow Queen, and she becomes fascinated by its star, Cristina, an actress who is just as mysterious and alluring as the Queen she is playing.

Before traveling to Italy to deal with the inheritance, he spends a few days in Paris to take stock of his life. Between conversations with his activist daughter and encounters with ghosts from his past, he begins to question his very existence, and, above all, his relationships with women.

Abraham finishes a concert in front of an almost empty venue. As he’s packing up his equipment, a woman calls out to him: he’s forgotten something on stage.
