An expelled journalism student, trying to make sense of his life, carefully documents his summer, as well as the story of the disappearance and death of the founders of one of the first startups on the Russian Internet.

Artem plays the accordion and lives in an ordinary city. His life is doomed to be boring and quiet. Her new friends help her survive in the capital: a diligent medical student, Olya, and a flighty Masha, who dreams of marrying a foreigner and going abroad. After 20 years, fate gives her friends another chance at happiness.
