Town Mall 2 is an adaptation of the famous horror novel 'Town Mall'. This film revolves around the mystical story of Ariani's life which eventually invites the revenge of the ethereal beings who continue to haunt her life.

This difference creates conflict and comedy between a grandmother and her granddaughter because Nicky is absorbed in the lifestyle of a "social media influencer" busy "collecting" followers. One day Janiki discovers that her post featuring her grandmother cooking traditional Indian cuisine successfully captures the audience's interest. A conflict arises between granddaughter and grandmother, and the celebration of Deepavali resolves the conflict between them.
