The true story of how Dave Fishwick, a working class man and self-made millionaire, fought to set up a community bank so that he could help the local businesses of Burnley not only survive, but thrive. In his bid to help his beloved community, he has to take on the elitist financial institutions of London and fight to receive the first, new banking license to be issued in over 100 years.

Soldier Tony Tucker returns from the Falklands War; a bitter and angry man, he soon makes a name for himself in the Essex underworld with his security business and drug dealing, after entering a partnership with gangster Bernard O'Mahoney, his life spirals out of control in a cycle of drugs and violence. Things get even worse when he meets notorious hard man Pat Tate and local drug dealer Craig Rolfe, culminating in the Rettendon Range Rover murders of 1995.

MISTAKEN IDENTITY follows two uneasy partners hiding out in the woods after a job goes spectacularly wrong. As tensions rise and their plan continues to unravel, the night descends into paranoia, dark humour, and buried resentment in this sharp and strange dramedy where nobody seems fully in control. Blending awkward comedy with simmering tension, MISTAKEN IDENTITY explores miscommunication, desperation, and the chaos that unfolds when bad decisions collide with even worse people.
