Romeo and Juliet set in 1940's Egypt. Two families are feuding but their children love each other, thus rejecting the premise that love is forbidden between them.

Three young men boycott their fiancées following a dispute between them and them, in an attempt to live without women. They think that by doing so they can live a life full of freedom and enjoy everything, but this life is not right and human nature overpowers them.

A Bedouin girl falls for the son of a Pasha, but her family opposes the match and ends up forcing her to marry her sweetheart's father. With the two lovers so close to each other, the elderly husband soon comes to learn that his wife is in love with his son.

Taha is the son of a simple worker, but this worker took care of his upbringing until he became an engineer and owner of several factories. Taha married the daughter of one of the pashas, and after his marriage to her it became clear to him the extent of her extreme recklessness and lack of interest in her husband or even her son, and her extreme absorption in a life of entertainment. After Taha loses all his money, he, his wife, and his daughter move to live in a popular area.

Amin, the singer, has some female fans even after his marriage. Rashid Bey's wife tries to seduce him, so she recommends that her husband hire him in his company. Rashid learns of his wife's love for Amin, so he commits suicide after confessing it in a letter, but his wife hides it. Suspicions swirl Around Amin, a fan steals the letter, she tries to seduce him but fails.

A rich man runs his cabaret and falls in love with one of the dancers who work for him. When the two young men, Ismail and Amin, ask to work for him, he refuses, so they deceive him by claiming that they work for a love insurance company. He asks them to stay until he marries the dancer he loves.
