Kait Brayden

A documentary crew embeds itself in the quiet life of a small-town serial killer, capturing his unsettling routines. As the film moves between observational footage and the killer’s own recordings, the boundary between filmmaker and subject, and between documentation and complicity, begins to collapse.

The year is 1997, and on a gloomy evening in Detroit a group of friends are sucked into a horror movie when they gather at the house of a recently deceased occultist to screen a film entitled...HELLMARE.

Horror slasher film with gore and '80s homage. Blood, violence, and a killer on the loose in a small town.

A recently paroled outsider returns to his desolate hometown, only to find a community plagued by a disturbing darkness. As he grapples with his own past and the town’s sinister secrets, he becomes the prime suspect in a series of gruesome murders.
