In a suburban basement, five old friends meet on the night of their friend's funeral to fulfill his final request: finish the Tomb Quest role-playing campaign they abandoned after their high school graduation.

Leah is a 30-something woman who doesn't want kids. Though she's happily married to Kevin, she's fulfilled by her work and her art and has no interest in babies. But as she gets older, her friend circle is changing. As more of her friends become parents, Leah has less in common with them than she used to. At a baby shower, she discovers her best friend Deena is pregnant, and Leah is crushed. She decides to make new friends - only to discover she's stumbled into a cringeworth misunderstanding.

Successful Atlanta rap artist Cory Masters is late for his own surprise birthday party. While his friends anxiously await his arrival, each one individually addresses their own existential crisis. As the night drags on, hilarity ensues amongst the party-goers as they ponder life, careers, and relationships with Cory.
