In the ‘90s in Taiwan, two students share one desk at a high school divided into day and night classes. It is a story of love, friendship, disappointments, and ultimate growth bolstered by a compelling cast of up-and-coming Taiwanese acting talents.

On a Saturday morning, Shan and Xuan have a fight over a missing item. The story gradually unveils the true aspects of each individual when the issues inevitably surface.

After a grueling night shift, Johney, a Filipino migrant worker, returns to find strangers clearing out her dorm—installing heavy machinery and claiming to “inspect the factory.” As tensions erupt, Johney fights to protect her home—and a secret she’s kept hidden inside.

The story revolves around two female protagonists, observing their lives and efforts in the urban jungle, the various difficulties and pressures they face, the hardships of pursuing their dreams, and the maintenance of interpersonal relationships. The main characters are passionate about performing arts, and through their experiences, the audience gains insight into the hardships, intense competition, efforts, and rewards in the entertainment industry. At the same time, the story explores young people’s curiosity and exploration of romantic relationships, examining modern society’s views on love, gender equality, and personal freedom.
