It is impossible to live between Doria and her diplomatic husband, Medhat, who asks him for a divorce, but he refuses. She is forced to go to court and file a divorce. Doria falls into the maze of the courts and is exposed to a series of problems and obstacles that undermine her dignity. Things get complicated when the husband comes with false witnesses testifying against her in secret. She loses her case after more than four years.

The events of the film take place in a dramatic setting on New Year's Eve, where a group of the elite of society celebrate in the palace of a wealthy man (Munir Ezzat), and there the course of events changes, as the life of each of the invitees is at stake, after an unknown person reveals the truth about each of them through a recording that is broadcast after they enter the palace, and decides to achieve justice with his own hands, so he takes revenge on each of them, and reveals their sins to each other.

Mamdouh meets with Hanan on a ship heading to Greece, and a romance starts between them, so Mamdouh proposes to Hanan. To his surprise, Hanan returns suddenly to Egypt and asks him not to try to find her again. Mamdouh returns to Egypt to find that she is married to Ezzat Beik, a very powerful man, and a war ensues between Mamdouh and Ezzat.

A girl of a humble origin who works at a hotel to provide for her family crosses paths with a wealthy young man whose mother opposes their marriage due to the difference in their social backgrounds.

Farid belongs to a large family, but he failed in his studies and joined a drug smuggling gang. He frequents bars and nightclubs and is in a relationship with Zizi, the dancer who was in love with the gang leader, Mr. Basyouni. Farid tries to get rid of Mr. Basyouni to take control of things. Farid marries Hoda, the sister of Omar Abdel Karim, the public prosecutor in the Anti-Narcotics Office.

Safia is a beautiful girl from the countryside, who is loved by two men: Rashwan, the mayor's son, and Hamid, the poor young man. Her father approves her marriage to Rashwan, but Rashwan soon changes his mind, as he tries to get close to Hamdiya, Hamid's sister.

Teacher Abu Al-Atawf agrees with teacher Atta on the marriage of his son Ibrahim and her daughter Samsim. Abdul Basir, Ibrahim's uncle, goes to bless the bride, and get to knows Attata, who resorted to the lawyer with whom she worked as a writer for twenty years to prove the lineage of her daughter from Lotfy, a wealthy who married her customally and refused to recognize his father to Samsim, so she had to register her in the name of her deceased husband.
