When a young married couple moves into an apartment they have rented in a working-class neighborhood in Seville, they have no idea what awaits them. Nosy neighbors, who meddle in the lives of the newcomers, tell the young woman about the horrific crime that cost the previous tenant her life. This, combined with her husband’s lack of understanding, turns the young woman’s life into a nightmare.
