Musician and Scientist from the Soviet Russia goes to Türkmenistan to explore and learn about Turkmen National Music. Whilst drifitng through the desert and writing down the music he learns, he comes the across the son of the legend: Karkara.

The film covers the period from 1903 to the mid-1920s. In the center of the epic narrative is the story of the difficult love of the poor Berda and the daughter of the shepherd Uzuk, who will be freed and made happy by the revolution.

Enver and Dondi love each other. But the girl's father forbids her to go to the city to study. Enver leaves for the city alone. She is being forcibly married off to someone else. Dondi decides to go against her parents' wishes and goes to the city to visit Enver...

The film is based on K. Kuliev's novel "Magtymguly". A story about a Turkmen spiritual leader, philosophical poet, Sufi and traveller who wrote under the pen name Pyragy (Feraghi) and is considered to be the most famous figure in Turkmen literary history. After graduating from the Khiva Madrasa, the poet Pyragy (Feraghi) Magtymguly returns to his native Turkmen aul. He teaches children, composes poems, loves a beautiful girl and is loved by her. But local bey Cherkez-khan does not like the poet's calls to unite Turkmens, and his soldiers burn the village. Khan appoints the captured Magtymguly his court poet but, having received a refusal, the tyrant orders to kill the poet. But the guard helps the poet to escape. Having returned to the burnt aul, Magtymguly begins to call on Turkmens to unite with Russia, because they could not deal with their troubles alone.

Based on the story by V. Aleksandrov, "Wandering Currents". In the laboratory of a research institute, important experimental work is being conducted on the use of solar energy. A key figure in the search for new scientific solutions is the young scientist Khatamov. The story explores his relationships with colleagues and the love that is inseparable from youth...

The film is dedicated to the boys who grew up during the war. The main characters are the milkmaid Bahar and the village postman Merdan. They are not even nine years old, but they know that every day they live and every good deed they do brings them closer to Victory Day and the day their fathers return.

Gummat, a rural firefighter, lives in one of the collective farms of Turkmenistan. He is a kind, honest, selfless man who has preserved the purity and integrity of his soul until adulthood. He is very conscientious about his duty and trains his team, Besher's son and Shukur's watchman, according to all the rules of fire science.… A flighty neighbor, Gazelle, constantly whispers to him about thieves and grabbers who rob collective farm goods. The good Gummat can't believe it for a long time — until he agrees to look into the barn of the warehouse manager Batman. And then Gummat does everything to expose the fraudster.
