A comedy-mystery short film where a love-struck housefly turns detective, tailing the mysterious woman of his dreams to a secluded Hollywood Hills hideout. Built on a brilliant cinematic paradox, the film uses the moody visual style of a classic thriller to deliver a lighthearted mystery. The plot follows two tracking FBI agents, a quirky professor, and a tactical SWAT team as they all cross paths in an unexpected puzzle surrounding the enigmatic Mrs. X.

The show follows Crime Scene Investigators working for the Miami-Dade Police Department as they use physical evidence, similar to their Las Vegas counterparts, to solve grisly murders. The series mixes deduction, gritty subject matter, and character-driven drama in the same vein as the original series in the CSI franchise, except that the Miami CSIs are cops first, scientists second.
