João Araújo

A documentary about Barão Vermelho, one of Brazil's most famous rock bands during the 1980s, following its steps through archive footage and interviews with all of its remaining members and associated parties.

It explores the last two years of Brazilian singer Cazuza's life, from his AIDS diagnosis until his death. Nilo Romero, Cazuza's music producer and the film's director, created a collection of rarely seen and controversial images.

This documentary reveals the man behind the icon Cazuza: the poet who transformed his life into art and his death into resistance. It delves into the intense journey of the young man who sang of love, Brazil, and his freedom until his last verse.
