Teleplay about the scientific discoveries of the world-famous geologist Vladimir Afanasyevich Obruchev during the Great Patriotic War.

Molly Egan, an almshouse resident, takes part in picketing a laboratory developing nuclear weapons. Judge Henry Pulaski finds her guilty of “trespassing.” Not heeding his warning, Molly again participates in the picket, for which she goes to prison.

The famous engineer Sergey Volgin developed the project for the Moscow Metro. His design was rejected by the Tsarist officials. However, the project didn't get lost among the millions of other proposals.
