A dyslexic graduate of a pedagogical institute is forced to become a teacher of Russian language and literature in a secondary school. Despite the illness, he manages to establish contact with the students, who in the end will help him keep his job.

The mother is ready to let her son fulfill his dream, but only if he proves that he can live for at least three months without guaranteed financial support. As a result, adult life falls on yesterday's teenager: he needs, at least, to find a place to live and earn at least some money for food.
