Vasily Chirikov

The young part-time student Boris Kulikov, upon arriving in the village of Kardymovka, learns that Buneev, the pier chief who lived there until his death, was his father. Interested in his father’s past, Boris discovers that Buneev once gave up his career as an architect after his bridge design was rejected. Boris strives to prove that his father’s ideas were innovative and valuable.

The dramaturgical concept is based on the principle of a monologue. The play takes the form of reflections on issues related to raising children in middle school.

Based on the play of the same name by M. Gorky, staged by the State Academic Maly Theatre of the USSR.

The heroes of the play are the father and son, the Raskatovs, whose lives are marked by the echoes of the past war: the father, a prominent military leader, dies from wounds sustained during the war; the son perishes while disarming a Nazi chemical weapons depot.

Based on the play of the same name by A. Ostrovsky, staged by the Moscow Art Academic Theater. Gorky. Written in 1873 and first staged at the Maly Theater, this play has not left the stage of many theaters since then.

The television play centers around the character of the young, energetic collective farm chairman, Semyon Bobrov, who is passionate about the idea of creating a new village project.
