A talented young guitar-playing Rooster comes to the Bebop Barnyard to join Jazz Greats Duck Ellington, Mules Davis, Ella Finchgerald, and Lil Herdin. Even though he's a star on solo guitar, he must learn new skills to play together in a jazz band.

Despite their opposing personalities, a talented but directionless P.I. who is the black sheep of his family begrudgingly agrees to work as the in-house investigator for his overbearing mother, a successful attorney reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage.

Rooster and his barnyard friends go on musical adventures about friendship, fun, and jazz. These 3-minute stories highlight styles of jazz, musical concepts, as well as preschool-friendly experiences, each featuring an original song.
