As the camera orbits him, Joey Frank struggles to convey an idea about astrology to a rotating group of guests. In 2006, in a manic episode in a matinee of Little Miss Sunshine, Joey Frank had an epiphany that he attempts to recreate by watching the film again. 14 hours of stopping and starting gets boiled and trimmed down to 101 minutes, so that Little Miss Sun Sign is the same length and size as the film from whence it came.

A running out of future that grapples for its past. Like the folds of a blackhole, I wanted something guttural and familiar and as structurally unsound as life.

Chilling as the stuff of existential tragedy. Ex-lover Alex becomes a mini drone, the new lover is a stuntman; Timur can’t escape his mother and his drug problem, nor can Nicole her father’s ashes. An urban indie chamber drama with delicate synth sounds.
