The life of Brazilian soccer player, Garrincha, considered to be one of the greatest players of all time, with his uniquely original style. He had arched legs, a passion for women and booze. Also had a much talked extramarital affair with singer Elza Soares and died in relative decadence. The movie focuses on his zenith, from 1953 until the World Championship and the Rio Regional Championship, in 1962.

Marquinhos (Lúcio Andrey) lives in the Rocinha favela, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. He gets involved with Débora (Priscila Assum), a young woman from the upper middle class with whom she starts to face adult life and several difficulties that try to separate them.

Tells the story of a group of surfers in their fifties, who have reunited after 20 years. A tragic accident happened to the car of the President of the Republic, causing the death of one of them, and his former companions, are reunited at the funeral. Nando, one of the surfers, who used to date the widow Zulma, during his youth, knows her 21 years old daughter, Nicole, and begins a torrid romance. Zulma, who is still in love with Nando, is against to their romance. "The Sharks of Copacabana" is a story of friendship and disagreement, of turbulent passions and lost hopes, because the most dangerous surfing waves, are the waves of life.
