Following the brutal murder of two police officers, a tenacious detective reluctantly joins forces with his estranged ex-cop father to catch the killer.

In the fictitious town of Bekkebakken, conformity is a virtue and all things otherwordly are frowned upon. Twelve year old Lars, half zombie, and his just as special friends with certain supernatural characteristics, have a series of strange adventures suppressing their true natures in order to fit in.

Four men with dubious plans move to a farm in the countryside. More or less against their will, they end up as the founders of Norway's first halal dairy farm.
