As a big storm approaches, Elmo and friends work together to get ready. After it passes, Sesame Street looks different — and everyone pitches in to help.

Close friends Marcus and Holly begin their freshman year at a tough public high school in Baltimore County, Maryland. When Cassie, a well liked senior at the school, disappears suspiciously, both of their lives change forever. Together, will they find out what happened to Cassie? And after a dramatic confrontation, will any of them ever be the same?

This holiday special goes back in time to show how Elmo's ancestors--not to mention those of Grover, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster--helped transform "the most unfriendly street in town" into the bright, kind, music-filled place it is today.

Cookie Monster and celebrity host Yvette Nicole Brown help teams decorate and sell treats to raise money for their local library.

Oscar the Grouch and lifestyle expert Sunny Anderson team up to help rescue dogs find their fur-ever homes by crafting costumes from upcycled trash.

Big Bird, Elmo and other Sesame Street favorites sing the show's songs alongside the world-renowned bandleader Wynton Marsalis.
