Esta Pramanita

This film is based on one of the well-known, spine-chilling myths circulating around the IPB University campus area that haunts the students living in the campus dorms.

The struggle of Mustakim (Dude Harlino), a travelling tailor, and his wife, Rohmah (Alyssa Soebandono), who has a high dream for their son to become president.

The story follows the romantic struggle between Kendra and Maudy, whose relationship is hindered by a family feud. Argadana, Maudy’s father, harbors a grudge against Wilantara, Ken’s father. About 20 years ago, Tissa, Wilantara’s younger sister, was found dead by suicide in her room. A note was discovered stating that Tissa was pregnant with Bram’s child—who is none other than Argadana’s younger brother. However, Bram refused to take responsibility and chose to marry another woman. Wilantara flew into a rage and went to Argadana’s house carrying an air rifle and his sister’s body. He then shot and killed Bram. Unable to accept that his sister had been murdered, Argadana harbored a deep grudge and had Wilantara thrown into prison.
