Five twenty-somethings, in search of an authentic life, move into an isolated country house full of books. Living in the carelessness of youth, with time, practical problems and the immature nature of young people create tension. Everyone has romanticized the idea of an independent and responsibility-free life – running away from reality, they run right into it.

Centre of the Spiral

The carelessness of summer residents, relentless sun, bare skin, water, and blood. Sudden injury of Kiril's girlfriend rips the temporal and spatial boundaries in his hazy consciousness. Struggling to find a way and help his girlfriend, he tries to distinguish the harsh reality from the acid dream, where his parents' country house still reigns in peace, surrounded by closest friends enjoying tranquil summer days.

Zinātniskās padomes sēde

Late 1950s, a scientific council brings together doctors, artists and Soviet functionaries to prepare the opening of a new museum. Discussions and disputes oscillate between the ideology of the exhibition and the difficulty of procuring flooring. The minutes of the meetings from the time of the museum's founding are reopened in 2023, played out and discussed by museum directors and actors.
