After losing her kite, India sneaks into a mysterious palace to get it back. There she meets a mysterious seamstress and the dolls that accompany her—dolls that can talk. What India doesn’t know is that she holds in her hand the souls of all the children who were once like her and now belong to someone who seeks to prevent them from returning to their world. Will India be able to take control of her own destiny, or will she end up like all of them?

Ants, dust and steel.

"Oh son, do you know, do you know where you come from? From a lake with white and hungry seagulls. [...] That's how you came into the world. From so many places you come, from water and earth, from fire and snow, from so far away you walk, towards both of us, from the terrible love that has chained us, that we want to know how you are, what you tell us, because you know more about the world we gave you." - The Captain's Verses (1952), Pablo Neruda.
