The story is a funny love story between Anna Bremer, the Bundeskanzlerin of Germany and Guy Dupont, the President of France.

The same situation is played out in different cities (New York, Berlin and Tokyo). A lover has to choose whether to commit to a partner who is returning home. In each case there are other people involved, an ex-partner and someone else in a "permanent" relationship, what do they choose to do?

Nerdy Jewish Nelly Sue Edelmeister, daughter of a New York mother and Berlin musician in Berlin gets straight A's, except for gym. When she hears her dream prince, actual royal Edouard, a fellow astronomy buff who studies in Luxemburg, patronizes the basketball tournament hosted there by a European school she wants to join her school's girls team.

Working life was often no walk in the park for the resolute Henriette. Without any training and with many odd jobs, the now 58-year-old has struggled through life. And so Henni decides to take the bull by the horns once again and take her fate into her own hands. She reinvents herself as a "premium nanny" who only works for the best families in the world and dreams of carefree hours on the beach of a dream island. Of course, there is always a huge gap between her dreams and reality, and so her first job on the island of Mauritius becomes a real challenge.

Hilde Reimer is overjoyed when her three grown-up daughters and their partners move into the old family villa. The only thing that really bothers Hilde is that her three girls are still not married, despite having children and being very much in love.

A boarding game comes alive and drags a family into its world
