Regina and August are two students who share more than just notes: they share furtive glances and knowing smiles. While August plunges headlong into the whirlwind of teenage love, Regina struggles against the shadows of an oppressive home, where homophobia and religion are intertwined.

During the Day of The Dead, Jonás prepares a traditional “ofrenda” dedicated to Héctor, his former lover, all while he remembers and pines over their relationship. That night he receives an unexpected visit which might change his whole perspective on guilt and life after love.

After losing his mother, Efraín moves in with his grandfather and enters a new school where he meets Bernardo, a boy who is being bullied. As May 10th approaches, he discovers the reason.
