Working as a modest garbage collector and part-time theater assistant in Berlin, Ali Ekber feels betrayed by his friends. After getting his hands on a theater prop Politzei uniform, he uses it to pose as a Politzei and impress his love - waitress Babett.

A Turk and a German try their hand at the art of being a man. They love the women on the Ferris wheel, seal their male friendship with a chicken heart feast and occasionally send their philosophical thoughts on a paper boat.
