In Portuguese, SAUDADE means nostalgia, grief, or longing. Thinking wistfully of one's distant home or of loved ones far away, or yearning for a youth that can never be recaptured. Sorrow, agony, bitterness, love, beauty, radiance. Sometimes a sharp pain within one's heart. Sometimes one should aim at the light that will lead one into the future. In the outskirts of this world, surrounded by strangers, a lone man feels SAUDADE. These mindscapes blend with elements of poetic scenery, and singing and dancing to a variety of music, to display the charm of Sena Jun: the noble-mindedness of proud solitude, tender kindness, and sometimes a brief glimpse of forlorn fragility, in contrast to which her vigorous strength and dynamism overflows even more vividly.

It is 17th-century France, where Louis XIV, the "Sun King," reigns. The Musketeers, who answer to the king, diligently train themselves day in and day out to protect their liege and the state. Set at "Studio 54", a discothèque in New York that captivated celebrities all over the world from the latter half of the 1970s to the 1980s. A musical production about a runaway papparazzo following a scandal and his target, an up-and-coming actress, who connect with each other after a certain incident. Holly Ashley is a freelance journalist who supplies "scoop" photos and gossip articles to tabloids and evening magazines. One night, a party is held at Studio 54 celebrating the release of rock star Z-BOY's new album. Holly gets an exclusive story on the up-and-coming actress Giselle Morgan, who is rumored to be Z-BOY's lover. But Z-BOY's agency interferes with the article being published. Holly needs money — to give back to the orphanage where he was raised. Desperate, he chases after the pair and gets involved in an incident...

"Grand Hotel" is a musical set in 1928 Berlin, depicting the varied lives of guests at a luxury hotel over a day-and-a-half. The Broadway production that opened in 1989 with Tommy Tune as director-choreographer earned rave reviews and went on to win five Tony Awards. The same show was later put on in London and Berlin as well. Suzukaze Mayo led the Moon Troupe in the Takarazuka Revue's 1993 production of "Grand Hotel." Tommy Tune was invited to direct and choreograph this Takarazuka version, which went on to win high acclaim. The Takarazuka Revue has invited Tommy Tune, who won the Special Tony Award at the 69th Tony Awards in 2015 for his many years of achievement, to serve as special supervisor as "Grand Hotel" returns to the stage at the outset of 2017, when the Moon Troupe's top star, Tamaki Ryou, will make her Takarazuka Revue debut.

Shakespeare's drama "Hamlet" has been performed all over the world, and performed three times by the Takarazuka Revue. This time it will be in modern Denmark, with everything developed in the form of the ghosts ("black spirits" which cannot pass on) progressing. The tale's theme is basically "revenge", but lurking behind that is the frank love of a man and a woman, parent-child passions, and a futile adolescence passing by. This will be a powerful rock musical unfolding through hard rock music.
