Broke and desperate, two post-teens Splint and Spraggo plan a robbery but accidentally kill a man. Harlow, a broken father, falls asleep after a heavy night of drinking. Stumbling back into his past, he recalls his tormented childhood, severed marriage and abusive father. Beginning to understand himself, he claws the way out of his traumatic and shattered comprehension.

Flooksy, Hops, Mav and Risa break down on their way to a bush doof. Stranded in the desolate, Australian countryside, numerous conflicts quickly arise, slowly revealing the broken car is not the biggest problem that prevails.
