The film is set in a lower middle class chawl, an apartment building in Mumbai, a 20-year-old and unmarried Kamla, unable to handle the news of her pregnancy commits suicide. This makes her neighbourhood examine their own secrets and the choices they have made in their own lives.

It's a story about an urbanized couple Tanvi and Nikhil whose life's pace revolves around their respective careers so much so, that they have no time to spend with each other or start a family. The film deals with motherhood, love, aspirations and priorities individuals make in their lives, touching upon major societal issues, solutions and trading of human emotions for personal benefits.

Aditi and Sayan, two individuals who are heartbroken over their failed relationships, cross paths and find solace in each other.
