Adèle, aged 12, doesn't want to go back to school. She prefers to skateboard and watch the others from a distance. But this isolation leads her to question the kind of woman she wants to be when she grows up.

Prune, a young electro-technician in the film industry, is called in to provide lighting support for her first professional shoot. She is followed by Julia, with her camera, who does a short report on her. The two young women are very excited about the day ahead of them, but once they arrive on set, their excitement turns to disillusionment.
