Through forty interconnected vignettes, Human Theories is a comedic kaleidoscope exploring how people try, and often fail, to connect with one another in this weird world. Filmed over a year on location in New York City with a diverse ensemble cast of over 50 actors and non-actors, the film is an experimental love letter to the awkward struggle of modern city living.

Struggling musician Nomi accepts a last-resort job from her overachiever best friend Mara: mentoring misfit campers, the “Floaters,” at their childhood Jewish summer camp. As the camp struggles to survive amidst competition with a longtime rival, Nomi, the Floaters, and Mara must overcome their differences to bring the community together and save the camp.

When students leave an elite university for winter break, a tightly wound astronomy professor and a laid-back football coach are forced to team up for the local Christmas Bar Trivia Tournament. Initial clashes turn into mutual appreciation as the two discover that life's surprises might be more important than always knowing the right answer. As the competition heats up, friendships are tested and secrets surface, revealing how much more is at stake than just bragging rights.

Caught in a carousel of memory, the head of a dysfunctional royal family grapples with power-hungry children and the threat of losing the empire he created. Real and imagined worlds coalesce, creating a political and personal horror that threatens to swallow the mind of the monarch.
