Fakher Wahchy

Amel is released from prison after an adulterous affair. In the violent streets of Tunis, Amel seeks her missing son Moumen, a young football player destroyed by the scandal. During her journey, Amel has to face Tunisian society in ruins.

Nasser is a Tunisian serial killer who committed several murders in the 1980s; he was the country’s last prisoner executed; this film follows his life, psychology, and history.

The events revolve around Ali Bin Al-Bashir Al-Saghir, better known as Ali Chwereb, and shed light on that historical, political, and social stage in Tunisia.
