Andreza Furtado is a Brazilian film director and screenwriter from Natal, in the Northeast of Brazil. A graduate in Film Directing from the Darcy Ribeiro Film School, she directed the experimental short Casulo and the documentary short Traços.

Five women tell stories about scars they have on their bodies and share the process of self-acceptance that goes beyond their own traits.

What does it mean to be free? The Cocoon explores the feeling of imprisonment experienced by women who try to find freedom – not only in times of social isolation.
