After returning from their best friend's funeral, Samuel and Lucas happen upon a mysterious board. Believing it to be a sign from their late friend, they decide to use it to commune with him, until a far more sinister presence makes itself known.

Every year, two friends host a competitive game day event, and every year their board-game obsessed companion, Steven, ruins the evening by taking the games too seriously. This year, he is determined to win, even at the price of his friendships.
