The plot is built around the traditional meeting of old friends in the bath and subsequent events. Musical stars, actors and comedians act out the most recognizable scenes from their favorite New Year's Soviet films and perform songs familiar to everyone.

When five young students move into an old unoccupied mansion an inexplicable chain of events is set into motion as a mysterious spirit clock begins to tick again. As the story unfolds, revealing each student's dark secrets, the boundary between the real world and the afterlife is no longer clear. Will they find a way to escape or will they be trapped with the spirits forever?

In unsuccessful attempts to investigate the events of that day, Pasha goes to the extreme measure — brings Vera to a live talk show. Speaking on television has an unexpected effect for everyone. Despite the name of the show, it is not the search for the truth that becomes the main goal of the participants.
