Four young flight attendants from a low-cost airline find themselves in a hotel room the day before their flight. Two of them have never flown before, while the other two have. To ease their anxiety, they laugh and joke together, until a role-playing game disrupts the balance of the group.

It's the height of summer in Terracina and Lavinia is at home with her little brother Elia when Giulio, her summer crush, arrives wanting to spend the day with her. Once inside, he distracts the child with a treasure hunt so he can spend some time alone with his sister. Finally alone, Giulio and Lavinia move to her bedroom. Giulio has a new tattoo and Lavinia is so attracted to it that she wants to touch it. It intrigues and frightens her at the same time, almost as much as the idea of changing in front of Giulio to go to the beach, leaving Elia alone at home.

A hotel night. A married couple decides to experiment with a ménage à trois with a much younger woman. But this game of desire opens hidden wounds and reveals unspoken truths.

In Italy in the 90s, Zena, daughter of the Pope's doctor and granddaughter of a former fascist, is admitted to a reformatory, Villa Bianca, where deviances are “cured”, the last resort for the parents of Italian good society who wish to “repair” a rebellious generation. There, she meets and befriends three teenagers: a young nymphomaniac, Alfonso, a whimsical young man who intends to express his homosexuality, and Adriano, who has been mute since his mother's disappearance.
