An expat PI is hired to investigate a suspicious death in Crete, Greece, where jealousies run deep amongst the victim's powerful family.

The events of this film, spanning from the very first moments after the Occupation until the first years of the 1980s. In those years, which are crucial for Greek History, the adventurous path of a poor family is illustrated, that’s slowly going to end up filthy rich. The members of the aforesaid family found out the hard way, that money cannot buy happiness.

Dimitris, a 23 yr. old swimming champion, meets Elsa, a yound environmental activist. Their relation, and her sudden dissaperance, make him re-evaluate his settled life.

Spying a lissome young woman standing topless on a nearby balcony, Giorgos (Andreas Barcoulis) climbs up onto a nearby rooftop to get a better look. At a critical moment in his climb, his family and friends call out to him and he falls, suffering a terrible blow to the head. Ineed, at the hospital, the family is told that he is brain dead, and that if they like, his heart can be given to someone else as a transplant. Giorgos' grieving wife (Betty Livanou) agrees to this arrangement. The film now follows the recipient of the dead man's heart (Giorgos Constas), as he wanders all over Greece, driven by his newly lusty heart into the arms of many beautiful women. Eventually he is led to the one woman his new heart truly loved, Giorgios' wife.

My Best Friend is the outrageous story of two men, friends since childhood, who have spent their lives tormenting one another. It is only when Constantinos discovers Alekos in bed with his wife that their friendship and their respective marriages finally collapse into a death spiral of sex, deceit and irrepressible humor. As events unfold another deception, one concealed by both men's wives, opens the door to incredible erotic intrigue.

This is a series of stand-alone comedy episodes on the theme of infidelity. Each episode deals with a different type of "cuckold" man and how he reacts to his wife's infidelity. The connecting link of all the stand-alone episodes is the "ghost" couple, Eva - Theophilos. After their death, they are given a second chance at life as long as they win a bet. Eva will have to break up more couples than Theophilos can keep together. Their fights are proverbial and in order to achieve their goal, they find inventive ways to get involved in the lives of the "cuckold" heroes and turn them upside down...!
