He attained his secondary education at Hawai'i Preparatory Academy, a private boarding school in Waimea, Hawaii, and went on to complete a degree in the faculty of architecture and design at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. Baan rose to prominence playing the role of Lek in "Saneha Sanya Khaen."
