Caterina is a girl victim of amnesia, who finds herself in an unknown village without being able to remember how she got there. In reality he doesn't even have any memory of his own identity, so he accepts the collaboration of Tommaso Carta - a local writer - to try to unravel the mystery. At the same time, the two will also be involved in a strange murder case, perhaps connected to Caterina's memory loss.

Marco and Giada were great friends as children, but they lost touch and only met again after twenty years. The two young people find themselves spending a strange night between folkloristic encounters and small moments of tenderness, while they try to overcome their respective problematic pasts to find a meeting point that will make them start from scratch.

The blossoming young love between two teenagers is brutally disrupted by retreating Nazi soldiers who occupy their small village in rural Italy.
