Starman is a character-driven queer drama set in 1990 that follows Bowie Madison, a hot-headed young black woman who is one year into her service with the Canadian Air Force. After getting into a fight with another trainee, Bowie is plagued by memories of the year prior and reminded why she joined in the first place.

In the wake of his childhood friend’s suicide, Danny will do anything to stay out of the house. As a last ditch effort to reconnect the friend group, Danny brings "the boys" back together for one last summer night.
