Five women share their life stories with each other. They all have one thing in common: they were written by the renowned Latvian writer and master of realism Rūdolfs Blaumanis.

The film takes place at a time when global catastrophes (climate change, global pandemics, warfare, etc.) have become commonplace and normalized. Art student Dafne is trying to create a painting, but she is disturbed by the noise made by her roommates. Seeking refuge, Dafne enters the world of her painting and creates her own personal oasis there. However, soon she must face a mysterious force there as well – a masked creature named Rēgs.

Trying to make a professional impression, the teacher of the 9th grade Dārta organises a parents' school meeting, but the parents' childish behaviour turns the gathering into a disaster, becoming the biggest challenge of Dārta's career so far. The new teacher prepares for the meeting, while the parents arrive late - so does the businessman Jānis, the president of the parent's school council Žanete arrives with flowers and a gift; the spouses of an open marriage Valts and Laine playing "truth or dare", while the recently divorced Maija and Raivo exchange barbs. The planning of the children's graduation turns into an absurd escalation of conflicts between the parents.

In her early thirties, freshly divorced Dita swaps her comfy loungewear for high heels, stepping boldly into the unpredictable world of dating, where every encounter promises a new adventure.
